Sally Kuecker - Executive Director

Sally joins our team as a life long animal advocate. She has 25 years of animal care. Her passion for animals has only grown over the years and she is eager to begin implementing her educational vision to promote public awareness.

Her involvement with animals includes serving on the Board at Victoria’s Texas Zoo, the Texas State Animal Resource Team (T.S.A.R.) as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, and manager/administrator for Hillcrest Animal Hospital. She has worked with local game wardens in wildlife habitat, attended veterinary seminars and shared her personally-trained Great Dane for educational programs in area schools. She is also a member of T.S.A.R., which is a program of the Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation that addresses the need to coordinate preparedness, response and recovery efforts for animals affected by disasters in the state of Texas. She currently serves on the local Animal Issues Committee to assist in the 211 plan – No Pet Shall Be Left Behind.

A native Victorian, Sally is committed to her husband, four children and her pets. Her hobbies include teaching aerobics, Team Sorting in horse competitions, and spending time with her family which includes “Charlie”-a dog she fell in love with at DOCPAC.
