The Dorothy H. O'Connor Pet Adoption Center provides unequaled care and service in pet placement resources by continuing practices from inception of the former Six Flags Humane Society to prevent cruelty to animals.
This new $1.7 million comprehensive facility accommodates up to 200 animals at any given time. It provides dogs and cats their own living quarters in separate wings of the complex, walking runs for their healthy exercise and adequate treatment space for veterinary and hygiene services. There is also ample space for adoptable animals to become acclimated to a safe and clean environment with potential owners able to view them for traits
and disposition.
