Ask about getting your pet's ID card. We would like to welcome you to the growing number of caring pet owners who utilize
this important ID and information system.
Your Pet's ID Card will:
Serve as Proof of Vaccinations, Wellness Exam, and document them as current
which is required by boarding facilities, groomers, and emergency clinics.
Provide your pet's rabies and microchip number, both of which can be used as
identification if your pet is lost or stolen. Provide a color photo of your pet as
additional proof of ownership if you become separated from your pet for any reason.
DOCPAC recommends pet parents to carry with them when preparing for any potential
natural disaster, adding to your disaster preparedness pet kit in one simple card.
We welcome all pets for this ID card. All we need is vaccination records from your
Veterinarian so it can be entered on the card. Bring your pet to the Shelter for a photo shoot.
It's quick and easy and within 10 minutes you will have your ID card ready to go.
The charge is $5.00 and we can renew every year. Thanks again for your generous support of our mission.

Dorothy H. O'Connor Pet Adoption Center is now offering microchipping to the public. Microchipping is a safe and effective procedure that can help reunite your pet in the event that they become lost or stolen. We use 24 Hour PetWatch. The fee is $25.00, which includes the registration.
Why should I microchip my pet?
Each year millions of lost and abandoned animals are taken in by animal welfare organizations. The major reason for failing to reunite a lost pet with its owner is because the pets are unidentifiable.

More than adequate space exists for expanded dog runs and a fully plotted pet cemetery in the future.

While the Dorothy O'Connor Pet Adoption Center is focused on improving the lives of the animals in our care and the families that they will join,
we also understand that the inevitable loss of your pet can be devastating to you and your family.
At the Center, we understand the importance of handling the pets who have passed on with both care and compassion.
You can be assured that your pet is treated with the respect that he or she deserves through the cremation services that are available through the Center.
Our pricing varies, dependent on your needs and your budget, and includes services with and without urns. Our services can be coordinated with your local Veterinarian or can be offered to you personally.
The Dorothy O'Connor Pet Adoption Center would be proud and honored to assist you in this time of need for you and your beloved pet.
Please call us for additional information or to arrange for services.
